This is a liquid humate - an organically based natural soil conditioner.

Experiments have shown that a Humate increases soil properties in the following ways:

• Increases the cation exchange capacity (CEC) and water holding capacity of the soil.
• Increases organic carbon content and thereby stimulate beneficial microbial activity in the soil.
• Improves soil structure and promotes root growth.
• Improves buffering ability (controls ph) of the soil.
• Promotes nutrient uptake by the plants.
• Adds a chelating nature to the plant nutrients.
• Improves nutrient retention in the root zone and thereby reduces leaching losses of nutrients.
• Promotes insulating properties against heat and cold.
• Promotes plant root growth, their ability to grow deeper into the soil, and developing a stronger more rigid root system for supporting the plant.
  
  

Rates of application for Micro Boost:

• 5 litres per hectare up to 3 times in the first year - less in the following years.
  Micro Boost is best applied during rain or through an irrigation system.
• 1:200 - 5mls per litre of water.
  Micro Boost can be applied at this rate for foliar and root feeding.
