How Vitall Liquid Fertiliser Works |
Vitall is best utilised when applied to both the root system and the foliage of the plant as this combined use promotes synergy between the root system and the above ground parts ensuring that all processes in the plant are perfectly balanced. Any fertiliser run-off from foliar application is immediately available for the root system. Vitall is best applied to soil during rain, when irrigating or to moist soil and to foliage in the early morning or late evening.
The preparation of spraying solutions is a very simple process as Vitall is 100 percent water soluble and prepared solution should not have any sediment. The size of the particle structure enables Vitall to be used in extra low volume sprayers because of the possibility to spray in particles less than 50 microns. This means that Vitall is ideally suited for Fertigation.
Vitall does not harm soil life- fungi, bacteria, earthworms etc. Tests were carried out using earthworms as indicators as to the toxicity of the fertiliser. Vitall was applied to the growing medium at 5 times above the recommended strength at 30 mls per litre with no noticeable effects on the earthworms. (Worm growers in Victoria use Vitall on their compost- worms have almost doubled in size and Nitrogen content in vermicast has risen from 1 percent to between 2.5- 3.5 percent).
